Father Michael Pintacura

Father Michael Pintacura is the U.S. Vice Postulator for the Cause of Canonization for Blessed Anna Maria Taigi. He was ordained a Priest on May 8th, 1976 after completing seminary studies  at the Beta Pontifical Collegio Seminario and the Gregorian University in Rome, Italy. He later attended special studies at the Biblicum in Jerusalem.

He served first in the Diocese of Amarillo, Texas, and was later incardinated in the Diocese of Stockton, California.

In his many years he has faithfully served in Parish Ministry, Hospital, Police and Fire Department Chaplaincy, and Social Work.
He is one of the few Priests in the United States who is bi-ritual, i.e. he can offer the Divine Liturgy in the Eastern Catholic Church and he can offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the Western Catholic Church.

He is currently on special full time assignment as the U.S. Vice Postulator for the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Anna Maria Taigi.
Fr. Pintacura has been on EWTN and various Catholic radio stations worldwide.
He is known throughout North America for his unique and orthodox retreats and his educational, inspiring and humorous talks for all age groups.
